Andrea Capewell
Andrea has a lifelong passion for animals and training. This started with horses and she become an instructor at age 18 (B.H.S.A.I.). Adding to this experience of training skills between owner and animal, Andrea has very proudly supported Guide Dogs as a puppy raiser over the years and had the privilege of being part of the journey a Guide Dog Puppy takes towards graduating to support their new owner. The academic studies have continued alongside the practical experience with Andrea gaining the Canine Psychology Diploma (Distinction) fully qualified APDT 01304 member (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) and now combines practical work and studying as part of her ongoing continuing professional development.
Andrea understands the special bond between owner and their dog through her previous dogs and 2 current Working Cocker spaniels.
At Field and Home Dogs we look to develop through positive reinforcement based training to make the relationship between you and your dog more rewarding for both.
